COVID-19 WORKSAFE SAFETY PROCEDURES FOR DOG TRAINING

Per WorkSafe BC we will ensure that the following points are strictly adhered to for any in-person training services:

  • All training will be outdoors, without exception.

  • If you’re feeling or have felt sick in the last 14 days (even if it’s just a runny nose or a little cough) you must let us know, and we will reschedule our session.

  • We also extend the same courtesy to you and will not come to see you if we are at all unwell or have been in the last 14 days.

  • In both cases our 24-hour cancellation fee will be waived if it is due to illness or suspected illness

  • We will maintain social distance (6 to 10 feet) during our sessions with the following exception:

    • The moment when we pass your dog to and from our staff.  If you desire, we can both wear a mask.

  • No handshake, hugs, or physical contact of any kind

  • We will not be able to pet your dog

  • Our staff will bring either soap and water, or hand sanitizer to our training sessions and our staff will wash or sanitize our hands before and after our training. We’d like you to do the same.

  • We will quickly check-in the day of our session to confirm that we are both in fact healthy.

We kindly request that you consider how many people we must see during the course of our work. If you or someone close to you are immunocompromised please carefully consider the risks you are taking on by choosing to resume training.

Thank you for your understanding and support of these measures to ensure everyone’s safety.
